Award Winning Brews

A Sheridan brewery recently won a couple of medals at one of the top beer competitions in the country. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

The Great American Beer Festival was held September 21-23 in Denver, Colorado. According to the Brewers Association, the festival represents the largest collection of U.S. beer served in the format of a public tasting event plus a privately judged competition. Black Tooth won two medals, one gold, and one silver, at last week’s Great American Beer Festival, the only brewery in Wyoming to win a medal at the festival.

Barnes said one of the things Black Tooth has always been mindful of is the ability to be broad in their portfolio as they’ve been able to win various awards throughout the years with very different styles of beer.
