Sheridan County Republican voters had a lot on their minds and a lot to say amongst themselves and to county leadership.

On Thursday (February 16th), the Sheridan County Republican Party held a town hall meeting at the Ramada Plaza Hotel.

Among the topics for discussion included Title 22, Chapter 4 and 5, which deals with the Wyoming Election Code that was created by the State Legislature in 2021, and the accusations that have been made against Representative Cyrus Western, concerning election code finance violations.

Bryan Miller, who is the Chairman of the Sheridan County Republican Party says some people haven’t been too pleased about what’s been going on in the legislative session.

“There is discontent, that some of the folks are not acting like Republicans. They’re out there to spend a lot of money, they’re out there trying to do a lot more regulation, and people are not happy with it.”

The Sheridan County Central Committee Meeting is scheduled for Saturday, March 18th at the Ramada Plaza Hotel.

At that meeting, Sheridan County Republicans will elect officers for the upcoming biennium.
