For the third year, SAGE Community Arts and the Wyoming Distillers Guild will hold the Soiree.

The Soiree event features live operatic musical performances, craft spirits from Wyoming Whiskey and local Sheridan art from the SAGE Gallery artists.

A knife by Gene Sturlin is one of the auction items available during the VIP hour to held at SAGE Community Arts starting at 5 p.m.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. on April 12, at the WYO Performance and Education Center. A special VIP reception will take place at 5 p.m. at the SAGE Gallery featuring exclusive spirits from Wyoming Whiskey.

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, SAGE Community Arts Executive Director Jill Benson told listeners the event has become a major fundraiser for SAGE and the many programs that allow people to see, create and promote art in the Sheridan region.

The night will also feature games, an art auction and new for this year a paddle raise.

“Tangle Town ii” by Sheridan artist David McDougall is one of the featured works of art available for auction during the VIP hour to held at SAGE Community Arts starting at 5 p.m.

The funds raised during the Soiree will help SAGE continue to bring artists into Sheridan from around the world who in the past have influenced their fellow artists to visit the Sheridan area or even decided to attend a residency or develop a partnership with other organizations in the area.

Funds raised help to support seven major gallery exhibitions a year, five camps that enrich the arts for local children and over 20 different arts programs at SAGE.
