Sheridan County High School Volleyball Recap: Oct. 8-9 2021

A major upset took place between Sheridan County rivals.
Tongue River and Big Horn:
On Friday, Tongue River lost 3-2 at home vs. Wright (25-20, 23-25, 25-21, 18-25, 15-10), dropping the Lady Eagles to 0-4 in 2A Northeast Quadrant place.
On Saturday, TR rebounded in a big way sweeping Big Horn who was undefeated in the 2A Northeast (25-23, 25-23, 25-19).
The Lady Eagles have a record of 9-8-2 with a 1-4 record in the 2A Northeast.
The next scheduled matches for TR are on Friday, October 15th at home vs. Sundance beginning at 1pm.
On Saturday, October 16th they will play at Riverside at 2pm and then at Greybull at 6pm.
Meanwhile Big Horn’s record drops to 14-11-1, with a 4-1 record in the 2A Northeast.
The next scheduled matches for BH are on Friday, October 15th at Wright, beginning at 2:30pm.
On Saturday, October 16th they are home vs. Moorcroft at 1pm.
Sheridan:
In their lone match of the week, the Sheridan Lady Broncs lost 3-1 at home vs. Kelly Walsh (25-13, 25-13, 23-25, 25-17).
Sheridan’s record stands at 8-17 on the season with an 0-4 record in the 4A Northeast.
The next scheduled matches are on Friday, October 15th at Cheyenne South, beginning at 6pm.
On Saturday, October 16th, the Lady Broncs will play at Laramie, beginning at noon.
Arvada-Clearmont:
The Lady Panthers competed at the Upton Invitational against a number of JV opponents.
A-C lost vs the Thunder Basin freshmen 2-0 (21-14, 21-18), and lost vs. Upton’s JV 2-1 (21-13, 15-21, 11-4), then won vs. Wyoming Indian JV 2-0 (21-9, 21-9) and then lost vs. Campbell County Freshmen 2-1 (16-21, 21-17, 11-4)
The Lady Panthers have a record of 2-11-2, with an 0-4 record in the 1A Northeast.
The next scheduled matches are on Thursday, October 14th at Upton beginning at 6pm.
On Friday, October 15th, A-C is at Kaycee at 2pm, then on Saturday, October 16th, the Lady Panthers play Hanna-Elk Mountain-Medicine Bow at 12:30pm at Midwest.
