Buffalo Council to Consider Street Name Change

At Tuesday evening’s meeting, the Buffalo City Council will consider a street name change request from a group of residents for a street adjacent to Clear Creek downtown.

The group wants to change the current name of the street, Eagles Lane, to North Side Creek.

The name change was brought before the council last month, but the Resolution inadvertently had the “Lane” designation on the end of the street name, and the Resolution was tabled to make the necessary changes.

Also on the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting are street closures, open container requests, and noise variances for a sheep fest in June; a proclamation on Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month; and final retainage release to Barnum Construction for the Buffalo Business Park.

The meeting will begin at 5pm Tuesday night in Buffalo’s City Hall, and is open to the public.
