Private family interment for David Costello, 84-year-old Buffalo resident who passed away quietly at his home south of Buffalo, will be held at a later date.  Donations in David’s memory may be made to the St. Francis Animal Shelter in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. David Linton Costello was born on June 9, 1936, in Akron, Ohio to James and Ann Costello.  He grew up and went to school in Akron where he graduated from high school.  After high school, he attended Akron University for one year.  He was married on April 24, 1965, in Akron to Patricia Shremshock and they made their home in Akron.  David took a job as a Fire Medic with the Akron Fire Department on March 3, 1967.  In May of 1979, he was promoted to Lieutenant with the fire department. He later became a Fire Safety Inspector for the fire department and retired in February of 1992 and continued living in Akron.  His love for hunting and the outdoors took them to Buffalo, Wyoming in 2000 where they lived until the time of his death. David was a Ham Radio operator. He is survived by his wife Pat Costello of Buffalo and one sister Judy Sample and her husband Jon of Greenburg, Ohio.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
