Pat BlairKevin Adams, who’s head custodian at Sagebrush Elementary School in Sheridan, has been recognized as Classified Staff Member of the Year for Sheridan County School District 2.
Recognition came during the District 2 trustees’ meeting earlier this week.
Sagebrush Principal Kristie Garriffa said his dedication to the school has been exemplary.
Garriffa said last year, due to construction at the school, classrooms were moved on the weekends. She said Adams was supportive through the whole process.
She said Adams continues to work tirelessly and ensure the school is ready to open on Aug. 25.
She said those at Sagebrush Elementary are grateful for his dedication and commitment to making the school functional and clean.
Adams spoke briefly, thanking the board of trustees for their support of the school district. He said he was honored to be part of the district. He said daily decisions are made based on what’s going to be best for children and education.
