Levi Peldo Of Sheridan HS To Attend Casper College For Livestock Judging
A recent Sheridan HS Grad who has been showing livestock will continue to do so in his effort to reap the indirect benefits that he gets from it.
Levi Peldo has signed his notice of intent to join the livestock judging team at Casper College.
He says he’s been involved since he was 8 years ago and has enjoyed meeting many of the more experienced members of the industry.
Peldo adds there’s more to livestock judging than the actual judging itself.
It’s the life skills one can get from it.
“People don’t understand that your public speaking skills will get better and being in agriculture, the livestock judging portion, where you’re placing the class will help you in the real world. If you want to ever own a ranch or anything you’re going to know what to pick, what to choose from and then you really stay up in the industry and you’ll be able to figure out stuff more recently in the industry.”
Peldo says he plans to major in ag business and minor in accounting.
