Connolly Updates Budget Process in Legislature

State Representative Marilyn Connolly (R-HD40), in her weekly interview with Sheridan Media from this year’s legislative session, talked about the budget process, where it currently is and where it is going.

She said the House and Senate each have their versions of the budget and will now be working to find common ground.

Representative Connolly explained the next step in the process.

Connolly said she is waiting to see when the Conference Committee will be formed and then begin work to finalize a budget between the chambers, which is likely to happen this week.
