Sheridan County Commission to Work Busy Agenda Tuesday

Sheridan County’s Commissioners will work through a heavy agenda on Tuesday.

Twenty separate items are scheduled, including consideration of a Resolution Adopting Rules Regulations governing zoning, regarding the height of objects around the airport; the Preliminary Plat on the Bucking Iron Business Park; the Brenneman Event Venue CUP; the Wolff Minor Subdivision; and a revised application for federal assistance and the award of contract for the realignment of Taxiway Alpha Construction Project at the county airport, along with a number of vacations of public property.

The meeting will get underway at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Second Floor Board Room, #220, in the Sheridan County Courthouse Addition.

The meeting is open to the public.

    I hope one of the items is an apology from the 3 big gov’t commissioners who voted to inflict the Maximum mill rate on property owners. Their vote re-imposes high property taxes.
    And if only one of them had voted for lower taxes, it would have provided tax relief to every property owner.

    Lower Taxes Are Better.
