Linda Louise Kosine, 68, of Sheridan, Wyoming, passed away July 10, 2025, peacefully in her home after a long battle with breast cancer. She was born on February 19, 1957, in Buffalo, Wyoming, to Donna Mae Bell and Jackie Frank Turk. At a young age, she moved to Sheridan, Wyoming, with her mother and older sister, Penny Turk.

Linda had many joys she found throughout her life. When she was younger, she loved to do arts and crafts with her family. That love would follow her throughout her life. She loved to have BBQs with friends and family. She enjoyed camping. She loved to play different games from Yahtzee to Liverpool Rummy. She loved watching wrestling, which she would call her adult cartoons. She loved her KC Chiefs and swore they won a Superbowl because she wore her Chiefs beanie. She loved being a part of the Women’s VFW Auxiliary and playing Bingo on Tuesdays. Most of all, she loved her faith.

Linda found her first love at the age of 22 when she had her son, Jerrod Turk. She would go on to marry her best friend and soul mate, David Kosine, July 30, 1983, where they would spend 42 beautiful years together. She would become a bonus mom to Brian Kosine. A couple of years later they would have a daughter, Kendra Kosine.

Linda was a beautiful soul. She was full of love and laughter and had a personality that drew you in. She never met anyone in her life that she ever called a stranger. She was a sister too few but friend to all. She would do anything she could to help anyone out. She always made sure everyone felt loved, valued, respected and appreciated. If you crossed paths with her, you became a lifelong friend.

Linda is preceded in death by her grandparents, Carol and Halsey Turk, her mother, Donna M. Bell, father, Jackie Frank Turk, and sisters, Penny Turk and Julie Reeves. She is survived by her husband, David Kosine, son, Jerrod Turk of Sheridan, daughter, Kendra Kosine of Sheridan, bonus son, Brian Kosine of Phoenix, sister, Kris (Jerry) Melneck of Sheridan, Candy Aragon of Yuma, Arizona, Lori (David) Bertrand of Billings, Montana, numerous nieces and nephews, six grandchildren and one great-grandson.

I first met Linda when she rode behind David with the Bomber Mountain Believers, of which Dave is the chaplain. The Kosines had a love for God’s Word and that was easily seen. While my heart breaks for Dave, believers in Christ have a hope in the hereafter. Waiting is the hardest part.
