Kittie Ann Johnson

Kittie Ann Johnson, 82, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Sheridan Memorial Hospital in Sheridan, WY, surrounded by her loved ones.

Kittie was born in Rapid City, S.D. on July 7, 1941, to parents Ruby and Clifford Conry. She was raised in Custer State Park where she attended k-8, and Custer High School. After graduation, she went to Sheridan WY Beauty School. She worked as a beautician in various hair salons including Wheatland, WY. She married Dean H. Johnson on November 25, 1964. She had three children from this union: Daniel, Kelly, and Troy. She was known for her sense of humor and always had a joke to tell. She enjoyed baking, watching birds, garage selling, gambling, and spending time with her family. She loved celebrating all the holidays, especially Christmas and made everyone’s birthday special.

Kittie will be sadly missed by her husband Dean H. Johnson, and children Daniel (Karissa) Johnson, Kelly (Darrel) Hunt, and Troy (Mia) Johnson. Her grandchildren Austin (Brionna) Johnson, Corbin Herden, Krishell (Dan) Gaffke, Kendra (Trystan) Herden, Kaitlyn Johnson, great-grandchildren Lakiya Johnson, Timothy Baker, Evelyn Baker, Lakota Neiger, Myla Gaffke, and Alexander Gaffke. Also, brother Cliff (Cheyenne) Conry and sister Colleen Faber. She was preceded in death by her parents, and late sister Connie Powel.

A Celebration of Life will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Phil Wold officiating with a reception to follow.
