Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

BRONC FOOTBALL – The Sheridan Broncs beat the Natrona county Mustangs 42-7 to run their record to 8-0 and with the win the Broncs locked up the home field advantage through the first two rounds of playoff games.

They jumped out to a 35-0 lead at halftime, Head coach Jeff Mowry says it was a very good win against NC.

But the main take away from Friday is securing the number one playoff seed.

RAMS / EAGLES FOOTBALL – The Big Horn Rams beat the Tongue River Eagles 14-7 Sheridan Media’s Kevin Koile has the wrap up.

COWBOY FOOTBALL -The Wyoming Cowboys lost 34-27 at the Air Force Academy Saturday night, the Pokes are idle this week.

BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos will host Green Bay Sunday afternoon.

X-COUNTRY – The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross teams competed at their conference meet the Lady Broncs were 2nd the Broncs were 3rd, coming up Saturday the season will culminate with the state cross country championships in Cheyenne.

VOLLEYBALL – The Lady Bronc volleyball split their road games winning at Cheyenne South and losing at Laramie, the Lady Broncs will be home Friday against Campbell county then close out the regular season at Thunder Basin Saturday.

The Big Horn Lady Rams beat Wright Friday and will play at Sundance and Greybull this week.

The Tongue River Lady Eagles split matches beating Sundance and losing at Riverside, they will play Wright Friday and Rocky Mountain Saturday,

SWIMMING / DIVING – The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers will compete in Cheyenne aT East high school this weekend at their regional meet.

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks dropped games with the Great Falls Americans 4-0 and 4-3, the Hawks will be on the road this weekend in Bozeman. Montana.
