The Ucross Foundation is celebrating 40 years of artist residency by holding a gala 

For 40 years the Ucross Foundation has supported the arts by offering residency to writers, photographers, painters, dancers and more at the Ucross Foundation Ranch at the foot of the Bighorn Mountains. 

To celebrate and ensure another 40 plus years to come, Ucross will hold a gala on Sept. 27. Proceeds from the gala will help Ucross finish their 40th Anniversary Campaign, which provides support to the residency program that hosts 115-plus artists each year as well as the thoughtful stewardship of their historic 20,000-acre ranch, and continued investment in the Ucross Foundation’s arts education and community engagement activities.

Executive Director of the Ucross Foundation, William Belcher, made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to announce the celebration. 

The Ucross Foundation will also take the opportunity to recognize a few of the contributors to the ranch, the foundation and the legacy of The Ucross Foundation.
