Johnson County’s Commissioners have moved the time for Tuesday’s regular meeting from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

According to Commissioners’ Assistant Jody Telkamp, the reason for the change is due to conflicts with the Johnson County Fair.

On the agenda for the meeting is a report from Emergency Management Coordinator Marilyn Connolly on the General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS) project.

The commission will discuss the Tisdale Mountain Lease and consider Fire Resolution No. 710 and a boundary line adjustment.

They will also discuss a Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) contract amendment.

The meeting will begin at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Commission Chambers upstairs at the historic Johnson County Courthouse.

The public is welcome to attend.
