Sheridan Commission Approves 2023-24 Budget

During their regular Tuesday meeting the Sheridan County Commissioners unanimously approved Resolution 23-07-013, their Budget Appropriation for Fiscal Year 2023-24.

Revenues in the approved budget were just over $24.8 million, with expenditures listed as Roughly $28.9 million.

ARPA Funding for Cash on hand was listed as $6.2 million.

County Administrative Director Cameron Duff explained why revenues were less that expenditures in the budget.

Duff said the county was also able to increase their reserves as well as their general equity being increased.

No comments were offered during the public budget hearing.
