Sheridan County HS Outdoor Track and Field Results: April 6, 2023

With the meet in Spearfish, SD canceled due to the snowstorm, Sheridan reworked their schedule and competed at Worland.

Tongue River and Arvada-Clearmont joined them.

The next scheduled outdoor track and field meet for Sheridan is on Monday, April 10th at Cody.

The next scheduled outdoor track and field meet for Tongue River and Big Horn is on Friday, April 14th at Upton.

Patrick Aasby (Sheridan) placed 2nd in the boys 400 meter dash with a time of 52.59 seconds.

Austin Akers (Sheridan) placed 1st in the boys 1600 meter run with a time of 4 minutes 29.98 seconds.

Al Spotted (Tongue River) placed 2nd in the boys 3200 meter run with a time of 10 minutes 26.89 seconds.

Aiden O’Leary (Sheridan) placed 1st in the boys 300 meter hurdles (40.12 seconds) and placed 2nd in the boys 110 meter hurdles (15.85 seconds).

Cameron Perez (Sheridan) placed 3rd in the boys 300 meter hurdles with a time of 32.23 seconds.

The Sheridan boys 4 by 100 meter relay team finished 2nd with a time of 44.61 seconds. The team is comprised of Chance Morris, Ryan Metcalf, Riley Green and O’Leary.

The Sheridan boys 4 by 400 meter relay team finished 1st with a time of 3 minutes 33.03 seconds. The team is comprised of Aasby, Perez, Green and Aiden Roth.

The Sheridan boys 1600 sprint medley relay team finished 1st with a time of 3 minutes 52.22 seconds. The team is comprised of Gavin Gilbertz, Garrett Otto, Robby Miller and Wyatt Phillip.

Caleb Kilbride (Tongue River) placed 3rd in the boys high jump with a jump of 6 feet 0 inches.

Shaw Walker (Sheridan) placed 3rd in the boys pole vault with a vault of 11 feet 6 inches.

Simon Tengesdal (Sheridan) placed 3rd in the boys shot put with a throw of 45 feet 3 inches.

Addie Pendergast (Sheridan) placed 1st in the girls 100 meter dash (12.66 seconds), girls 200 meter dash (25.95 seconds), and girls 400 meter dash (55.70 seconds).

Olivia Hardesty (Sheridan) placed 3rd in the girls 200 yard dash with a time of 27.12 seconds.

The Sheridan girls 4 by 100 meter relay team placed 2nd with a time of 52.27 seconds. The team is comprised of Callista Roush, Hardesty, Ruby Jacobs, and Ellen Brown.

The Sheridan girls 1600 sprint medley relay team placed 3rd with a time of 4 minutes 42.91 seconds. The team is comprised of Avery Christopherson, Taylor Bower, Vivian Morey, and Maggie Turpin.

Lilly Charest (Sheridan) placed 1st in the girls pole vault with a vault of 11 feet 6 inches.

Callista Roush (Sheridan) placed 1st in the girls long jump (16 feet 8 inches), and girls triple jump (33 feet 4 inches).

Ellen Brown (Sheridan) placed 3rd in the girls triple jump with a jump of 32 feet 7 inches.

Josie Ankney (Sheridan) placed 1st in the girls shot put with a throw of 41 feet 5 inches.

Nora Butler (Sheridan) placed 3rd in the girls discus with a throw of 108 feet 1 inch.
