A Sheridan woman charged with delivering Marijuana to a minor was arraigned Wednesday in Fourth Judicial District Court in Sheridan. Brandy Bailey pleaded not guilty to two counts of delivery of a controlled substance to a minor –  Marijuana. The alleged crimes took place on October 7, 2022 in Sheridan County. District Court Judge Ben Kirven set a #2 stack three-day jury trial for September 25 and scheduled a pretrial conference for August 24 at 9 am. Each count carries a sentence of up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000. Bailey’s bond was continued under the same terms and conditions that were previously set in Circuit Court.

Also from District Court Wednesay, Paul Garofolo pleaded not guilty to one count of felony child abuse for an alleged incident that occurred on January 19, 2023 in Sheridan County. Judge Kirven set a three-day #3 stack jury trial for September 25 and scheduled a pretrial conference for August 24 at 9:30 am. The #3 stack means there are two other jury trials scheduled for the same date. If convicted, Garofolo faces up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000. Kirven continued Garofolo’s bond under the same terms and conditions that were previously set in Circuit Court.
