Bronc / Lady Bronc Tennis Split With NC and KW / Golfers tee it up in Casper / Rockies Fall at the Cubs

BRONC / LADY BRONC TENNIS – The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams hosted the Casper schools Monday they ended up splitting the four duals the Broncs beat Natrona county 4-1 while the Lady Broncs swept all five matches.

The duals with Kelly Walsh all went to the Trojans as they swept all ten matches. The Broncs are 1-2 on the season, while the Lady Broncs are 2-1.

They are just a couple of weeks into the season and Head coach Bob Faurot says it’s all about getting the younger players up to speed.

A few years ago the state modified the high school tennis and golf seasons to start and end early to try an avoid weather conflicts with the postseason and Faurot says they adjusted to the new format and it seems to be working out well.

Sydni Bilyue is a Junior for the Lady Broncs this fall and changed roles after playing doubles she now is playing number one singles and talked about making that transition.

Next up for the Broncs and Lady Broncs they host matches with Powell and Cody Saturday.

GOLF – The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers are in Casper today to finish up the Casper invtational.

SWIMMING / DIVING – The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers will compete in the Laramie Relays and the Pentathlon Friday and Saturday.

VOLLEYBALL – The Lady Bronc volleyball team opens the season at an invitational tournament in Riverton Friday.

CROSS COUNTRY – The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams run in Casper Friday.

BRONC FOOTBALL – The Sheridan Bronc football team plays their season opener at Laramie Friday the game will kickoff at 6:00 and you can hear it live on 14-10 WYO and 106.9 FM.

COWBOY FOOTBALL – The Wyoming football Cowboys open their season at home September 4th against Montana state.

BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos play at home Saturday night against the LA Rams kickoff is set for 7:00 pm.
