JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks swept weekend games from Gillette winning 9-3 and 8-3 the Hawks are back at home Friday and Saturday night game times are at 7:30.

COWBOY FOOTBALL – The Wyoming football Cowboys whipped UNLV friday 45-10 in their first game in three weeks, after the win Head coach Craig Bohl.

The Cowboys ran all over the Rebels for 400 yards on the ground led by Trey Smith with 164 yards, Smith came in for Xazavian Valladay who left the game with injury in the first half and Bohl says it was nice for Smith to have a big day.

The Pokes head back to Las Vegas this week to play New Mexico, the Lobos are playing all their home games in Vegas because of COVID issues in New Mexico you can hear the game Saturday night on 14-10 KWYO and 106.9 FM Cowboy pregame starts at 7:00 with kickoff at 8:30.

BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos went to their 4th string emergency Quarterback in their game yesterday with New Orleans and the Saints hammered the Broncos 31-3. They play at Kansas City Sunday night.

COWBOY BASKETBALL – The Wyoming basketball Cowboys open their season drilling Mississippi Valley state 97-61 after the win Head coach Jeff Linder.

Tonight they will host Texas Southern broadcast time is at 6:30 with the tip at 7:00 on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL – The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams open the season next week with games Thursday and Saturday against Evanston and Riverton.

WRESTLING – The Bronc wrestlers will open with multiple dual matches in Cody and Powell next week on Friday and Saturday.

SWIMMING / DIVING – The Bronc swimmers and divers open practice today their season starts in Gillette next Friday.
