High School Winter Sports Begin / Cowboy Football at UNLV Friday Afternoon

HIGH SCHOOL WINTER SPORTS – The Wyoming high school winter sports season for basketball and wrestling opened Monday with the first day of practice.

Our first visit comes from Sheridan Bronc basketball coach Jeff Martini, this week is all about getting back to the business of getting ready for a new season.

And since the season was cut short last spring he says the players are really ready to get back in the gym.

The schedule for the Broncs and Lady Broncs is amazing this year as they will start the season with seven straight home games.

The Broncs and Lady Broncs basketball open home Thursday December 10th against Evanston and Saturday the 12th they host Riverton,

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks are set to host games with Gillette this week Friday and Saturday night.

COWBOY FOOTBALL – The Wyoming football Cowboys are scheduled to play at UNLV Friday afternoon you can hear the game on 14-10 KWYO and 106.9 FM Cowboy pregame starts at 12:30 with kickoff at 2:00.

BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos are back home Sunday with New Orleans kickoff is at 2:05 on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

COWBOY BASKETBALL – The Wyoming basketball Cowboys are hoping to open their season Saturday with a home game with Mississippi Valley State then Monday night they will host Texas Southern.

COWGIRL BASKETBALL – The Cowgirls are set to open their season at home December 5th against Denver University,
