Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

WRESTLING – The Bronc wrestlers ran the table on their conference dual schedule this season by beating Thunder Basin high school 57-12 in the in the regular season finale Friday, the Lady Broncs tied Thunder 15-15, there are some video highlights posted on the sports page at sheridanmedia.com.

SHS BASKETBALL – The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball took three out of four road games over the weekend and get right back on the court tonight.

The Broncs blew out Cheyenne South and Laramie, the Lady Broncs whipped South Friday and lost 58-54 at Laramie.

They host make up league games with Natrona county tonight game times are at 5:30 and 7:00 and we will broadcast those games live on KWYO 14-10 AM and 106.9 FM and you can watch our live video web stream at sheridanmedia.com

TR BASKETBALL – The Tongue River basketball teams took three out of four on the road, the Lady Eagles beat Wright and Thermopolis while the Eagles came back after a loss at Wright to beat Thermop.

BH BASKETBALL – The Big Horn basketball Lady Rams dropped both weekend games against Sundance and Moorcroft, the Rams won both.

SWIMMING / DIVING – The Bronc swimmers and divers have their season culminating event this week with the Wyoming state swimming and diving championships set to get underway in Gillette Friday.

TRACK / FIELD – The Sheridan indoor track teams hosted their own event the Broncs won it the Lady Broncs were 2nd, all qualifiers will compete this week at the “Simplot” games in Pocatello, Idaho.

JUNIOR HAWKS – The Sheridan Junior Hawks dropped both home games against Bozeman, Montana by scores of 5-3 and 4-0, they will play in Butte this weekend and then four straight at home to end the regular season.
