Cowgirls fall in Three Overtime Thriller With UCLA / Bronc Soccer Hosts Cheyenne South Tonight

COWGIRL BASKETBALL – The Wyoming Cowgirls played their third overtime game in a row in the WNIT.

After going three overtimes with Tulsa last Sunday they took on UCLA last night and the game also went into three overtimes but it was the Bruins coming out on top 82-81 to end the Cowgirls season and a record of 17-13 overall.

Head coach Gerald Mattinson finishes up year three leading the Cowgirls program and says moving forward they are in a good spot.

SOCCER – The Sheridan high school soccer teams open league play this evening the Broncs will host games tonight and tomorrow with Cheyenne South and Laramie while the Lady Broncs travel to Cheyenne and Laramie.

Game times this evening at the JV’s at 4:00 and the varsity at 6:00 tomorrow they go at 10:00 and noon.

TRACK – The Bronc and Lady Bronc track teams head to a big invitational meet in tomorrow in Broomfield, Colorado.
