JCHC to Test Building’s Water Systems

The Johnson County Healthcare Center will be testing water lines in the building to determine if a more extensive cleaning regimen may be needed, according to CEO Luke Senden.
Senden explained why the tests are necessary and what may be needed after the initial testing is complete.
Senden said the testing is to look for E.coli and Legionella bacteria.
He said if the primary testing requires cleaning of the system, it will be an in-depth process.
Senden said, “Hopefully we don’t have to go down that road.”
