The YMCA is seeking qualified child-care providers

The Sheridan County YMCA is experiencing staff shortages right alongside the rest of the county.
The Sheridan County YMCA has full time and part time positions open in their Child Care and Preschool Programs.
According to Executive Director Liz Cassiday, this meaningful and challenging work will include working with seven to eight 2 year-olds.
According to the YMCA, the Y’s early learning, child care and out-of-school time offerings are staffed with people who understand the cognitive, physical and social development of kids, the support parents and families need and the importance of maintaining a safe, clean environment for children to learn and thrive. At the Y, infants develop trust and security, preschoolers experience early literacy and learn about their world and school-age kids make friends, learn new skills and get help with their schoolwork.
Applications are available at the front desk of the Sheridan County YMCA and www.sheridanymca.org.
