JCSD1 to Hold Forums for Superintendent Candidates
Johnson County School District #1 will be having community forums and conducting interviews for District Superintendent during the next couple of weeks.
Beginning Monday, April 12th and continuing on Monday, April 19th and concluding Wednesday, April 21st, each candidate will have a meet-and-greet at Kaycee School, participate in a public forum, and tour the building before concluding their day at Buffalo High School with another community forum and school board interview.
On April 12th, the public and school board will interview Gregory Figenser, currently the curriculum director and trainer at Sweetwater County School District #2 in Green River.
On Monday, April 19th, Keith Harris, assistant superintendent of Dickinson Public Schools in Dickinson, North Dakota will interview for the position.
On Wednesday, April 21st, the final interview will be with Charles Auzqui, currently the superintendent/K-12 principal at Sheridan County School District #3 in Clearmont.
According to a release from the school district, staff and community members will have an opportunity to submit questions for the candidate in advance of each forum.
Times for the forums and more specific information will be sent out by the district in the coming days.
