Crago Discusses Direct Distribution with Buffalo Council

During his recent talk with the Buffalo City Council, State Senator Barry Crago (R-SD22) was asked how safe direct distribution was from this year’s legislature.

Direct distribution provides funding to cities and towns and counties from the sState of Wyoming’s General Fund.

In this year’s session, the legislature has introduced a bill (HB0107) that will, if passed, codify or continuously distribute 5.6% of sales and use taxes collected by the state, to be redistributed back to local governments in the state.

As of Thursday, February 12, HB0107 has passed its second reading in the House.
