Muller Appointed Viewer in Vacation of Portion of Dana Avenue

Sheridan County’s Commissioners considered appointing County Engineer Ken Muller as Viewer in the proposed vacation of property in the Downer Addition.

Commission Chair Christi Haswell asked for a motion during a recent meeting.

The property to be vacated is from 2020 Dana Avenue to Soldier Creek.

The commission approved the appointment of Muller.

As Viewer in the matter, Muller will review and report on the proposal, consider public and private expense of maintaining the property, whether the vacation is practical, and the expense of vacating the property.

His report will be presented to the commission in a future meeting for their decision.
