Sheridan Commission OKs Airport Advertising Grant Application
The Sheridan County Commission has approved an application for a State Grant-in-Aid for advertising dollars for the county airport.
Airport Manager Robert Gill explained why the application would benefit the airport and the community.
Commissioner Nick Siddle spoke in favor of the application, saying the money would be put to good use.
The application is for a total of $100,000 with up to $50,000 coming from the state and at least $50,000 in local matching funds based on a 50% reimbursement rate for eligible costs, according to Gill.
