It’s real simple. “Today i announce that all of my temporary Covid-19 related emergency orders will expire, as planned on 31 May. Since the legislature is the only constitutionally legitimate, law-making branch in Wyoming’s Republican form of gov’t, they and only they will make all laws from now on. The immediate “emergency” has long-passed and the legislature was called. The time for single-person quasi-law is over. We will now return to a constitutionally-mandated Republic.” As your governor I swore an oath to support and defend both the US and Wyoming Constitution. I will honor and stick to that oath. ” The legislature is now free to meet again and issue any true law that they may deem necessary. This grey-area “dictator-republic” has to end NOW! We are flirting with both economic and governmental disaster. Again, if we let this flu virus destroy our economy AND form of Government, then we are doomed to failure.
