Buffalo Council Approves Mayor’s Appointments

Buffalo’s City Council, at their rescheduled meeting Tuesday evening, voted to approve two people to the Buffalo Pool Board, on the recommendation of Mayor Shane Schrader.

Mayor Schrader asked the council to approve the re-appointments of Travis Lawrence and Richard Wonka, who will both serve two-year terms on the board through the end of 2026.

The Buffalo Outdoor Pool Board oversees the Municipal Outdoor Pool, located in Washington Park.

According to city code, the board shall have the power to direct the general operation, maintenance, control and adornment and development of the Outdoor Pool.
