The Sheridan VA has experienced a drop in canceled appointments as restrictions pertaining to COVID-19 have forced the Department of Veteran’s Affairs to utilize video conferencing technologies in order to treat veterans’ mental health issues.
During an interview on Public Pulse, Dr. Vivianne Tran said as veterans adapted to the COVID-19 restrictions they have embraced the telehealth and video conferencing technologies, leading to less cancellations.
