Wyoming has a natural history museum located in Sheridan, that not a lot of people know about.

That’s according to Tom Herbert, founder of the Earth Sciences Foundation and Director of the Natural History Museum at Sheridan College, who was a recent guest on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program.

He explained why the museum is a perfect fit for the Sheridan community.

He said there will be an open house at the museum on Wednesday, August 6 to introduce the museum to the public and explain what they do.

The Open House is tonight (Wednesday) from 5 to 6:30 in the Mohns Science Center at Sheridan College.

The event is free to attend and snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Donations are appreciated.
