Jo Co Commission Passes Appropriations Resolutions

Johnson County’s Commissioners reviewed and discussed Resolution No. 749, which sets appropriations for the county for the coming 2025-26 fiscal year.

The commission approved Reserves for roughly $32,000,000; Perpetual Funds of $6.7 million; Fair at $390,000; Library at $492,000; and the museum for $270,000 for a General County Requirements total of $39.4 million.

The commission passed in their General Fund a sub-total in operating expenses of $16.2 million.

Grants overseen by the county totaled nearly $11.7 million.

The Commissioners voted to accept and adopt Resolution No. 749 for their annual appropriations for FY 2025-26.
