Aaron PalmerLaura Dalles, Senior Public Relations Specialist for the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) District 4 issued a release Friday to remind the public that work on Buffalo’s Main Street from Hart Street to the I-90 interchange will begin (today) Monday, August 19.
Traffic control will be set in place first thing (this) Monday morning, and WYDOT will close the Northbound lane from Hart Street to Airport Road.
Traffic will be shifted to the southbound and center lanes. Expect head-to-head traffic, reduced speed limits, and heavy truck traffic.
Key approaches to businesses and side streets will still be accessible.
The contractor working on sidewalks, curb, and gutter will be moving into a few of the blocks scheduled for next year, beginning the middle of this week on or about August 21, and will start work on the curb, gutter, and sidewalk at Onderdonk.
This will require the closure of the sidewalk to pedestrians and a closure of one lane of travel.
The public is asked to watch for traffic control and sidewalk detours.
Once they are done at Onderdonk they will begin work at Bennett.
