Aaron PalmerDuring the recent Johnson County School Board meeting, the board discussed the upcoming Wyoming School Board Association Conference that will be happening in November.
Board President Travis Pearson made the announcement and gave the invitation.
According to their website, the WSBA Conference will be November 20-22 in Casper and will feature keynote speakers, breakout sessions, student performances, awards ceremonies, and the annual legal update.
Voting delegates from member school districts will set legislative and position platforms for the 2025 and 2026 Legislative Sessions.
The Golden Bell Award, for those that have made an outstanding contribution to the improvement of education across the state; and the Champion of Education Award for those that have made an outstanding contribution to the improvement of education in their local district will be presented during the conference.
