Ron RichterIn the week leading up to Veterans Day, the National Association of Counties and the National Association of County Veterans Service Officers are encouraging communities throughout the country to take part in Operation Green Light for Veterans to shine a light on the issues veterans face and highlight the resources available to veterans at the county, state and federal levels. City of Sheridan Executive Assistant Jennifer Rizer says the City will be taking part in Operation Green Light for Veterans.
In observance of Operation Green Light, the City is encouraging citizens to recognize the importance of all those who have made immeasurable sacrifices to preserve freedom by displaying green lights at their place of business or residence from November 4 through November 11.
