James and the Giant Peach JR. at the WYO

The WYO Performing Arts and Education Center has announced that WYO PLAY and Tandem Productions’ production of Roald Dahl’s “James and the Giant Peach JR.” takes the stage beginning at 7 p.m. June 12-15 at the WYO Theater.
A delightfully offbeat adaptation of the classic Roald Dahl adventure, “James and the Giant Peach JR.” is a fantastical tale of a boy, his insect friends and their amazing journey across the ocean on a giant piece of fruit. The production features 60 local thespians aged 7 to 15.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, WYO PLAY Founder and Lead Teacher Grace Cannon-Wallace spoke on the difficult costuming of the production and how a local favorite of the costuming community reached out to seize the opportunity and take on the challenge.
