Repairs are being completed and soon it will be time to get into the pool in Sheridan.
The Sheridan Recreation District has announced that repairs are being completed and the Kendrick Park Pool will open for the summer 2023 season on Monday, June 19th, 2023.
The pool was originally scheduled to open on June 5th, but before that could happen, a break was discovered underneath the deck, and the pump was unable to get any suction, thus it wasn’t going to work properly.
Workers suspect the break happened sometime during the winter.
On Monday, the pool will be open from 1 until 5pm with 50 cent admission the entire day.
Regular hours of 1 until 7pm will take place beginning Tuesday.
The last day of the season is scheduled for August 20th.
The pool will be closed for all of the 2024 season, as the city works on a $5.4 million renovation project.
