With only two days left to view the “Tunnel of Oppression” at Sheridan College, Sheriff Levi Dominguez told listeners of Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, the exhibit is “powerful.”

The exhibit opened Monday, Feb. 20, but a select few were invited to a private viewing of the exhibit before the general opening including press members and the Sheridan County Sheriff.

During an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, Dominguez told listeners a little about the exhibit.

The “Tunnel of Oppression” will run through Sunday, Feb. 26, inside the Sheridan College Kooi Library. The public will be able to access the display Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon and Sunday from 1 to 7:30 pm.

Dominguez recommended the public stop in to see the exhibit that covers a wide range of topics that affect the lives of so many residents.

“Tunnel of Oppression” is an interactive experience that allows participants to walk through a series of scenes that aim to educate and challenge them to think more deeply about issues of oppression.
