I-80 Toll Bill Didn’t Make the Cut for Introduction

Many of the 350 plus bills that were proposed for the 2020 Budget Session of the 65th Wyoming Legislature didn’t even get heard before the deadline for introduction and many failed the vote to be introduced. One such example is the bill that would have added a toll to Interstate 80 in Wyoming and it failed to get the ⅔ support vote needed to be heard in this session according to Senator Dave Kinskey.
Senator Kinskey explained his feelings on the legislation at this time.
The measure was run with mirror bills in both bodies of the legislature and failed to be introduced in either. Only one member of the local delegation voted in favor of it being discussed this year and one member was excused. Those legislators are Representatives Mark Kinner and Cyrus Wester respectively.
