JCSD1 Offering TAC-ONE Training This Week

This week the Johnson County School District will be offering TAC-ONE active shooter training sessions at schools in both Buffalo and Kaycee.

Monday the district hosted the training that was required for district staff members that work directly with students while those that work indirectly were encouraged to attend.

The training will continue Tuesday with Buffalo students in kindergarten through fifth grades.

There will also be a Community/Parent TAC-ONE Presentation from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Cloud Peak Elementary.

Wednesday will have training offered for Buffalo students in sixth through twelfth grades.

There will also be a free TAC-ONE Women’s Defense Training for

students, staff, parents, and community members Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Thursday they will offer training at New West High School and the Kaycee K-12 School for staff and students, and there will be a Kaycee community/parent TAC-ONE presentation from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Friday will be training for Buffalo K-12 administration as well as district administration and supervisors.

The training will wrap up Saturday with local law enforcement.
