Sheridan County High School Basketball Recap: January 20-22, 2022

Sheridan started 4A East Conference play, while Arvada-Clearmont did similar in the 1A Northeast, Tongue River played inter-class games, and Big Horn had to move games around on the schedule.

Sheridan Boys:

On Friday the Broncs started 4A East conference play by winning at Campbell County 65-52, and then winning their home opener on Saturday vs. Thunder Basin 67-56.

Sheridan is 11-0 on the season and 2-0 in the 4A East.

The Broncs are back on the court Friday (January 28th) at Kelly Walsh (7pm tip-off) and Saturday at home vs. 3A Buffalo.

Sheridan Girls:

On Friday, the Lady Broncs started 4A East conference play losing at Campbell County 63-59, and then losing their home opener on Saturday vs. Thunder Basin 48-44.

Sheridan is 6-5 on the season, and 0-2 in the 4A East.

The Lady Broncs are back on the court Friday (January 28th) at Kelly Walsh (5:30pm tip-off) and Saturday at home vs. 3A Buffalo.

Big Horn Boys:

Due to illness, the Rams’ games on Thursday home vs. Moorcroft and Saturday at Sundance were postponed.

A make-up date for those games is to be announced.

Big Horn is 5-6 on the season, and 0-1 in the 2A Northeast.

BH is scheduled to be back in action on Friday (January 28th) at home vs. Wright and then Saturday at Rocky Mountain.

Big Horn Girls:

Due to illness, the Lady Rams’ games on Thursday home vs. Moorcroft and Saturday at Sundance were postponed.

A make-up date for those games is to be announced.

Big Horn is 1-10 on the season, and 0-1 in the 2A Northeast.

BH is scheduled to be back in action on Friday (January 28th) at home vs. Wright and then Saturday at Rocky Mountain.

Tongue River Boys:

The Eagles won on Friday at home vs. 1A Burlington 72-49, then won at 3A Lovell on Saturday 54-46.

TR is 12-2 on the season, and 2-0 in the 2A Northeast.

Tongue River is scheduled to be back in action on Friday (January 28th) at home vs. Sundance (6pm tip-off), and then Saturday at home vs. Moorcroft (4:30pm tip-off).

Tongue River Girls:

The Lady Eagles lost Friday at home vs. 1A Burlington 60-32, then lost Saturday at 3A Lovell 53-28.

TR is 6-8 on the season, and 2-0 in the 2A Northeast.

Tongue River is scheduled to be back in action on Friday (January 28th) at home vs. Sundance (4:30pm tip-off), and then Saturday at home vs. Moorcroft (3pm tip-off).

Arvada-Clearmont Boys:

The Panthers lost both of their 1A Northeast quadrant games, losing Friday at Upton 63-6, and Saturday home vs. Hulett 52-13.

A-C is 0-11 on the season, with an 0-2 record in the 1A Northeast.

Arvada-Clearmont is scheduled to be back on the court on Friday (January 28th) at Kaycee (3pm tip-off) and then Saturday at Guernsey-Sunrise (1:30pm tip-off).

Arvada-Clearmont Girls:

The Lady Panthers split their 1A Northeast Quadrant games, losing Friday at Upton 56-18, then winning Saturday home vs. Hulett 58-43.

A-C is 3-5 on the season, with a 1-1 record in the 1A Northeast

Arvada-Clearmont is scheduled to be back on the court on Friday (January 28th) at Kaycee (1:30pm tip-off) and then Saturday at Guernsey-Sunrise (noon tip-off).
