TROOPERS BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers played on the new field turf on Rotellini field at Thorne-Rider stadium Thursday and picked up two victories sweeping the double header from Laramie.
The Troopers took the first game in an 8-0 shutout but it took a late rally to win the second game.
The Troops trailed 1-0 entering the 6th inning and got two runs then shut down the Rangers in the 7th to take the game 2-1.
The Troopers are 18-6 overall and will open a tournament in Billings tomorrow, next week they home games on Monday and Tuesday both double headers will start at 5:00.
