Sheridan High School Spring Sports Teams: The Spring Sports season starts today for Sheridan High School teams.

The outdoor track and field team will host Buffalo and Thunder Basin in a 3-team meet beginning at 2:30pm.

Also the soccer teams start their season today at Worland.

The girls game starts at 3pm and the boys at 5pm.

In the boys game, the Warriors are the 5-time defending state champs in Class 3A, and they haven’t lost a game since April of 2018, not counting 2020, when the season was canceled due to the covid outbreak.

Worland is on a 78-game non-losing streak, which translates to 76 wins and 2 ties, since their last loss.

On Saturday, the Sheridan boys host Buffalo beginning at 11am.

Broncs Coach Wade Kinsey outlines what he wants to accomplish on the opening weekend of the season, against non-conference opponents.

Last year, Sheridan compiled a record of 14-4-2 and placed 3rd at the 4A State Tournament.

The Lady Broncs also play on Saturday, but their game is at Buffalo, beginning at 12-noon.

Mountain West Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament: Yesterday was round 2 of the Mountain West Conference men’s tournament in Las Vegas.

The other 2 games were both upsets.
