James Edward Abernatha, 78, formerly of Wyoming, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023, at his home in Colorado.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at 10:00 am in Willow Grove Cemetery in Buffalo with Pastor Audrey Manyonga officiating.

Well I can tell you many things about Jim, but I will just hold some of them to myself. I think I first met Jim when I was a bartender at the TNC bar. We became good friends and went to a lot of Bowling Tournaments, Jim worked for Hertz or Avis rent a car and he would always have a car set up for us to go to a tournament and a car set up there for us to return back to Sheridan. We also played some golf together I was never much good at that game, but I think Jim could hold his own.
