Ron RichterA Sheridan man has been arrested for allegedly possessing child pornography. Sheridan Media’ Ron Richter has the details.
Agents with the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force and Northeast Enforcement Team, along with the Sheridan Police Department and the Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Kyle Smith of Sheridan on September 14. According to information from DCI, Smith was arrested for two counts of possession of child pornography.
Smith’s arrest was the result of a month’s long investigation by Wyoming DCI’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Mansfield, Texas Police Department. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be forthcoming.
