January 6 Committee to Hold First Public Hearing This Week

Congresswoman Liz Cheney (R-WY) sat down with CBS News Sunday Morning to discuss the importance of the first public hearing of the House Select Committee investigating the attack on the U.S. Capitol January 6, 2021. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
Thursday night’s primetime public hearing is expected to be a comprehensive overview of the Select Committee’s investigation into the events of January 6, 2021. Cheney, Vice Chair of the House Committee, addressed the state of the GOP during Sunday’s interview.
In a March court filing, the January 6 Committee said that former President Donald Trump and members of his campaign engaged in a criminal conspiracy in an attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election. Cheney said we are at a time of testing right now in America.
The committee is expected to hold several more public hearings on the investigation in the near future. Cheney is one of only two Republicans serving on the House’s January 6 Committee. The other House Republican on the committee is Adam Kinzinger of Illinois.

By the way, J6 defendant Jake Lang, whos been rotting in a DC jail for over a year without due process, just had the obstruction charge dismissed by a federal judge. Charge these people with trespassing, and send them home like they did for diktator biden back in the 70’s.

Thomas: Notice how the lefties here conveniently omit any serious discussion of our points, e.g. the FACT that the perptrators of the horrific violence of the 2020 riots got away virtually scot free (the Biden DOJ just let two of them plead down their offenses even though they had participated in handing out Molotoff cocktails to be thrown at police). No, no. Don’t look at that 800-pound gorilla in the room. Better to focus on the “hard rain” that will “fall” on these evil, “sedition conspirators” who, again, killed no one. Watch the Thursday evening mainstream media “extravaganza” as they parade selected witnesses and selected facts and videos past their echo chamber supporters (such as some here on this board) who, I’m sure, will enjoy this show trial as much as the Stalinists did the Moscow Show Trials of 1937.

By all means, Liz, put the pedal to the metal on this. Don’t look at ANTIFA or BLM riots where dozens of people were KILLED. No, no. Keep aiding and abetting the left’s Shiff-show. Thomas, because Hitler was not present at holocaust death camps doesn’t mean he wasn’t guilty of setting the them up. Charley you keep ignoring that Liz voted the trump line 92% of the time. Just once she voted to defend the Constitution from his Jan 6th overthrow attempt. That very Constitution that you often quote. Because other folks Antifa and BLM have violated the law does not excuse what was done in our Capitol building in TRUMPS NAME on that day of Shame!! Why won’t Meadows, McCarthy, Bannon and other “good loyal trumpies” testify, they must have a lot to hide…. Mark no matter what facts the Commission present in their hearings, the trumpies on this forum will refuse to listen. How can they? Would they dare think their cult Guru could possibly be guilty of treason???????

Did you even see the videos where the capitol police took these people on a tour? No guns pulled, no handcuffs, no arrests. Oh but this doesn’t fit your agenda so sweep that under the rug. Never mind that one of our Senators who was there, cannot remember his name, he’s from Cheyenne, said Antifa came in all of a sudden, moved the barricades and the capitol police opened the doors for them after they started riling up the crowd. Forget all that though. Shame on the ones who entered, poor judgement on their part. But they aren’t the one who killed the AF veteran and got a nod of approval from the capitol police, that was Pelosi’s private security she had there. I know, facts are pesky things. Trump said to go to the capitol and demonstrate PEACEFULLY. Have your voice heard. He never said enter the building and wreak havoc. Quit the lies!

Debbie. I watched Jan 6th ALL DAY, LIVE! I couldn’t believe that this was happening to the capitol of The United States. I saw nothing that even remotely resembles your version. I watched trump’s speech also, what he said “you are going to have like hell”, NOTHING about “peaceful”. He also said “I will go down there with you”, instead he went to have coffee, where {by her own testimony} his daughter begged him several times to go down and stop the insurrection. Sorry, I have a silly tendency to believe my own senses rather than what someone tells me. Have a nice day!

I’m guessing you watched one of the alphabet networks. Antifa admitted to dressing up like Trump supporters. They edited what President Trump said. He did say peacefully protest, but I’m sure they cut that out. Hannity played the full audio on his radio show. I don’t believe a word that the MSM says. Trump authorized the National Guard to be present at least 2 weeks prior, but they weren’t requested. I’m sure President Trump was savvy enough to realize the left loonies would try something, and they did. And you bought the lies. And the left wants the rest of us to. Well we’re not!

The comparison of Hitler and the Holocaust, to Trump and Jan 6th is completely absurd. Borderline insanity. If you have no idea what I am talking about, then I suggest you read up on a little history, focusing on VERIFIED, FACTUAL documents. Now be warned, the facts will not fit your agenda. But the truth is enlightening, if you’re open to it.

I learned a long time ago that if a person has to resort to name calling, they are trying to strengthen a weak argument. I am open to polite discussion, if you have none, I am not bothered in the least of your assessment of my mental health, however Yours worries me.

It’s certainly more fashionable to go after conservative white guys these days…but to go after “social justice warriors” (looters, anarchists, vandals and murders-by fact) is racist. I’m not sure who is holding the scales of justice right now, but I am pretty sure there are some holes worn in that blindfold.
