Sheridan HS Boys Indoor Track And Field Team Wins 5th State Title In 6 Years; Girls Place 4th at 2024 State Meet

The Sheridan Boys Indoor Track and Field Team won 1 event and placed 2nd in 5 others, to win the 2024 Wyoming High School 4A Indoor Track and Field State Meet, for the 5th time in 6 years, by 11 1/2 points ahead of Cheyenne Central.

The Sheridan girls won 1 event and placed 2nd in 3 others to finish 4th.

Petty Owen (Big Horn) was 8th in the 3A Boys 200 meter dash and was 5th in the 3A Boys 400 meter dash.

Aiden O’Leary, Cameron Perez and Garrett Otto finished 2nd, 5th and 8th respectively in the 4A Boys 400 meter dash.

Landrum Wiley and Ryder Charest finished 3rd and 4th respectively in the 4A Boys 800 meter run.

Landrum Wiley finished 2nd in the 4A Boys 1600 meter run.

Landrum Wiley, Aadan Luna, Ryder Charest and Shaun Gonda finished 2nd, 6th, 7th, and 8th respectively in the 4A Boys 3200 meter run.

Isaac Adsit (Big Horn) was 5th in the 3A Boys 55 meter hurdles.

Aiden O’Leary, Garrett Otto, Cameron Perez, and William Sorenson finished 3rd, 4th, 7th and 8th respectively in the 4A Boys 55 meter hurdles.

The Big Horn Boys 4 by 200 meter relay team finished 2nd in 3A (Dane Brown, Frankie Maestri, Owen Petty, Noah Smith).

The Sheridan Boys 4 by 200 meter relay team finished 1st in 4A (Cameron Perez, Rudy Green, Garrett Otto, Riley Green).

The Big Horn Boys 4 by 400 meter relay team finished 5th in 3A (Dane Brown, Frankie Maestri, Owen Petty and Noah Smith).

The Sheridan Boys 4 by 400 meter relay team finished 2nd in 4A (Aiden O’Leary, Rudy Green, Riley Green, Garrett Otto).

The Big Horn Boys 4 by 800 meter relay team finished 8th in 3A (Chase Baker, Nalin Fletcher, Soren Frederickson and Cameron Guelde).

The Sheridan Boys 4 by 800 meter relay team finished 2nd in 4A (Wyatt Veal, Aadan Luna, Shaun Gonda, Ryder Charest).

The Big Horn Boys 1600 spring medley relay team finished 8th in 3A (Isaac Adsit, Dane Brown, Cameron Guelde and Frankie Maestri).

The Sheridan Boys 1600 sprint medley relay team finished 3rd in 4A (Rudy Green, Thomas Schwarzbach, Cooper Lynn, Wyatt Veal).

Riley Friday was 3rd in the 4A boys high jump.

Landrum Wiley was tied for 5th and Shaw Walker was 7th in the 4A boys pole vault.

Alex Haswell and Gunnar Depew were 3rd and 4th respectively in the 4A boys shot put.

Callista Roush was 8th in the 4A Girls 55 meter dash.

Alyssa Fehlauer was 2nd in the 4A Girls 800 meter run, 6th in the 4A Girls 1600 meter run and 2nd in the 4A Girls 3200 meter run.

Ruby Jacobs was 1st in the 4A Girls 55 meter hurdles.

The Sheridan Girls 4 by 200 meter relay team was 5th in 4A (Loralai Ketner, Molly Elchlinger, Lilly Charest, Averi Sullivan).

The Sheridan Girls 4 by 400 meter relay team was 6th in 4A (Averi Sullivan, Callista Roush, Loralai Ketner, Hadley Eckland).

The Sheridan Girls 4 by 800 meter relay team was 2nd in 4A (Hadley Eckland, Alyssa Fehlauer, Averi Sullivan, Alexa Miller).

The Sheridan Girls 1600 spring medley relay team was 4th in 4A (Ruby Jacobs, Molly Elchlinger, Loralai Ketner, Alexa Miller).

Peytin Fargnoli was tied for 4th in the 4A girls high jump.

Lilly Charest was tied for 2nd in the 4A girls pole vault.

Callista Roush was 5th in the 4A girls long jump and was 3rd in the 4A girls triple jump.

Amara Caywood and Tennyson Lewallen were 4th and 6th respectively in the 4A girls shot put.
