Sheridan HS Volleyball Team Improving Style Of Play And Teams’ Record

One goal for any sports team is to do better than last year and as far as the Sheridan High School Volleyball Team is concerned, that goal is already within reach.
Last year, the Lady Broncs only won 8 out of 31 games, and so far this year they’ve already won 6, less than halfway into the season.
Coach Kaitlyn Zarpentine says one of the differences between last year’s team and this year’s, is that this year, more players are trying to step up and make that big play.
“Stepping into this program, I knew I was going to have a lot of players that have had a lot of years of frustration and not as much success as they wanted, which really dampens confidence. When players like this team start building on the confidence, they’re a little bit more willing to go for the riskier, we’re going to score, plays, because they know that we’re not mad at them for huge mistakes. We’re working on something and they’re going to have mistakes, so that’s kind of been our big goal, is learn how to roll with the mistakes and to just go for it, because we’re backing them up.”
Sheridan next game is Friday (September 15th) at home vs. Thunder Basin.
This season, the Lady Broncs will host the 4A East Regional Tournament late next month.
